Before you can start listing products you need to sign up as a vendor. You can do this by going to the My Account page, entering the email and password you would like for your Retailite account, and then check the “Apply to become a vendor?” checkbox. If you’ve already created an account as a customer of Retailite, visit the Seller Dashboard page and you will be prompted to apply as a vendor.
Retailite pays users to through PayPal. Once you’ve registered for these accounts, or already have them, you can connect these accounts by going to Seller Dashboard>Settings>Payment. Here you will enter your PayPal email address in the provided field.
Here you can modify your store name, add a description, add images like your brand logo, and edit your seller info, which will be shown on all your product pages. You can also enter your store website, phone number, and address, and enable or disable “Vacation Mode”.
Add a default image and a cover image and fill out any information you’d like. You can also add a link to your website here.
Your main profile is it’s own page, where users and other sellers can contact you by message or comment, favorite your posts, add you as a friend, and more. This is not to be confused with your Store Profile, which is displayed on each of your product’s pages under “Seller Info”, as well as on your Seller Profile. These can be accessed by visiting Seller Dashboard>Settings.
On the Seller Dashboard click the Products tab, and then click “Add Product”. Here you will enter the product’s name, description, category (only one can be chosen), tags, images (featured image is the main image you will see throughout the site, gallery images are the slideshow images on the product page), product type (Simple Product for products of only one size, color, type etc. – Variable Products for products that have more than one size, color, type, etc.), and price / sale price (sale price scheduling available). If you don’t see your product attribute or variation listed, or you need other general assistance, feel free to Contact Us for help. Finally, you’ll click Submit product (or Save Pending if you’re editing a product you already submitted), or you can save the product as a draft. Retailite will review the product, check to make sure everything’s filled out right, and either approve or deny it. If your product is denied, we will contact you with a reason. Repeated denials of products that are spammy, restricted, malicious, or anything similar may result in the termination of your seller account.
